Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Myrtle Beach, SC, for a Loan Officer. The Loan Officer will assist clients with the mortgage application and approval process, ensuring an individualized approach for securing the best loan products. Responsibilities include assessing financial documents, providing tailored loan options, maintaining ongoing communication with clients, and collaborating with lenders to find suitable mortgage solutions.

The Loan Officer will also stay updated on industry trends and loan regulations to provide exceptional service and support.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of loan products including Conventional, FHA, VA, and HARP 2.0 loans
• Expertise in assessing financial documents and performing risk evaluations
• Proficiency in customer service, with the ability to establish and maintain client relationships
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of current market trends, tools, and relevant compliance regulations
• Experience in loan origination software and basic computer proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field is preferred
• State-specific Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license as required
