Responsibilities- Conduct applicant screening and interviews for Engineering positions.
- Make recommendations regarding hiring, advancement, discipline and promotion of candidates.
- Ensure department spending remains within budgetary limits.
- Ensure the department follows and maintains directives, standards, and quality performance.
- Provide staff training, assignments and supervision.
- Monitor equipment and special preventive maintenance standards to ensure quality product.
- Ability to handle multiple functions.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Excellent communication and human relations skills.
- Knowledge of hotel maintenance including HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, etc.
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or similar management experience.
