We are seeking an experienced Air Traffic Control Instructor II (Terminal) to join our Controller Training Solutions team in partnership with SAIC at the Myrtle Beach (MYR) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT)/TRACON, supporting air traffic controller training services for the FAA.

• The position requires a full‑time schedule until certification status is reached; thereafter approximately 24–32 hours weekly.

• The Instructor delivers high‑quality classroom and simulation laboratory training to developmental and certified air traffic controllers.

• Responsibilities include mentoring students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPOs), participating in curriculum design and development, and supporting training delivery to meet FAA needs.

• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum five (5) years of FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) experience controlling live traffic, or recent experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility, at an ATC facility equal to or greater than the Myrtle Beach (MYR) ATCT/TRACON.
• Strong technical skills with current ATC automation, simulation systems, and procedures; ability to obtain radar and/or non‑radar simulation laboratory certifications at FAA facilities.
• Education:
  
  High‑school diploma or equivalent (GED); FAA CPC certification required with the ability to obtain and maintain Instructor‑II Simulation Laboratory Certification.

• Direct experience as a Certified Professional Controller (CPC) at the Myrtle Beach (MYR) ATCT/TRACON preferred but not required.
• Operational experience with ATC simulators, including scenario design for platforms such as TSS, AT Coach, SGET, etc.; support in ETG (radar simulator) and TSS (tower simulator).
• Excellent teaching and classroom management skills; student‑focused drive for continuous improvement.
• Effective interface with FAA personnel at all levels to ensure delivery of training services meets local facility needs and the FAA’s overall mission.
