Reservation Sales Team Lead – Seaside Rentals, LLC
2:00pm-10:00pm mostly, somemid/day shifts - need flexible availability $17.00/hr plus Incentives
Reservation Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and supporting Reservation Sales Agents to ensure high productivity, strong sales performance, and exceptional customer service. This role leads through coaching, training, motivation, and accountability while enforcing Revinate best practices and MB Seaside Resort policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include maintaining an annual average call abandon rate of 4% or less, partnering with the team to achieve established close conversion goals, and setting a positive leadership example.
The Reservation Team Lead drives sales success by motivating agents, monitoring performance, and fostering a customer‑focused, results‑driven environment.
- Team Leadership
- Lead by example and motivate reservation sales agents to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Adopt department and MBSR policies and procedures as their own.
- On‑the‑Job Training
- Offer on‑the‑job training to ensure that sales agents are up to date on the necessary skills and knowledge pertaining to the job.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling.
- Productivity Management
- Ensure that agents are productive and efficiently completing daily tasks.
- Monitor and identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure effective best practices by helping to control payroll and productivity within the department and alert Team Leaders of schedule changes throughout each shift.
- Monitor calls to ensure an abandonment rate of 4% by actively keeping agents productive and answering calls in a timely fashion throughout their shifts.
- Review Revinate reports to recognize problem areas that require attention.
- Daily Tasks and Duties
- Phones are a requirement when necessary based on call volume and staffing.
- Encourage sales agents to consistently perform at a top rate.
- Monitor and manage reservation sales queues, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Using Revinate reporting to verify that all agents are meeting agent productivity goals (i.e., minimum 40% agent productivity).
- Answer inbound reservation sales calls and make outbound reservation sales calls.
- Check previous days bookings and activity for errors, create break board and daily tasks for the next workday.
- Ensure reservation sales agents are completing their tasks and taking breaks as scheduled.
- Complete daily and monthly call reports.
- Check same day arrivals to avoid holding inventory needlessly.
- Assist in escalated reservation sales calls.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays with remote privilege granted on a case‑by‑case basis and making up no more than 20% of hours worked weekly.
- Proven experience in a reservation sales or similar leadership role.
