Skilled Laborer II

PSC Construction is seeking a Skilled Laborer II to join our team.

• Safe operation of hand and power tools
• Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill and compact trenches using some equipment
• Installation of water, sewer and storm drain piping
• Load and unload building materials
• Perform manual labor including digging trenches, laying pipe, and compacting soil
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, and job site personnel
• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility systems such as water, sewer, and gas lines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• No criminal misdemeanors in the last 5 years or criminal felonies in the last 7 years
• May operate heavy machinery and equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and trenchers if necessary

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in underground utility work
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to travel from time to time if the project requires
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Weekly Pay | Full Time + OT | $31.51 per hour
