Ramp Health is seeking experienced, proactive PRN EMTs to support our Medical Response Team at a large construction project in Muskogee, Oklahoma. This role is ideal for EMTs who enjoy an occupational health and safety environment and want to make a daily impact on worker wellbeing—without the commitment of a full-time schedule.
As a PRN EMT, you will respond to medical incidents onsite and support a strong safety culture through active engagement with crews when not handling injuries.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmergency Response & Care
First on Scene: Respond immediately to any onsite injury, illness, or medical concern.
Preparedness: Keep a fully stocked quick-response bag accessible at all times.
Triage & Assessment: Provide first aid, escalating care when needed, and determine whether referral to Occupational Health or an ER is appropriate.
Escort Support: Accompany employees to external medical providers when further evaluation is required.
Follow-Up Care: Check in with employees post-incident to ensure compliance with work restrictions and progress toward recovery.
Accurate Documentation: Maintain clear, detailed logs of all incidents for reporting and compliance.
This is not a sit-and-wait position.
When not providing direct care, you will be active and visible on the jobsite:
Promote safe work habits and injury-prevention practices through daily interactions.
Conduct walk-throughs to observe work zones and support safety reinforcement.
Talk with crew members about hydration, fatigue, PPE use, and general wellbeing.
Partner with safety leadership to support a strong, collaborative safety culture.
Provide reminders and education on lifting techniques, early reporting, stretching, and more.
Your presence should encourage workers to approach you early— with concerns, discomfort, or questions.
