Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree Minimum/Master’s Preferred
  • Experience:

    Minimum three (3) years of experience in Instructional/Curriculum in a public school, higher education, and/or career tech. Curriculum development experience preferred.
  • Certification:
    Valid Oklahoma Department of Education Teaching Certificate or valid ODCTE Standard Teaching Certificate.
Skills
  • Ability to administer and interpret a variety of assessment instruments.
  • Ability to utilize computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • History of displaying excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated administrative and organizational competencies, team‑building skills, and positive communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets.

  • Assist and communicate with all vendors, ODCTE, and other state agencies in a friendly and sociable manner.
Primary Functions
  • Coordinate with Campus Directors to provide instructional coaching and teaching methods for all staff under the direction of the District Administrator for Instructional & Student Services.
  • Provide support and expertise in the delivery of the district new instructor induction program and the various ODCTE teacher induction programs.
  • Assist in adapting curriculum materials to provide alignment, rigor, and relevance for all instructional efforts.
  • Assist in the application of Literacy, Numeracy, and embedding academic content in curriculum.
  • Promote, advertise, and solicit students to participate in the Cooperative Alliance program.
  • Guide and assist students, instructors, and staff members with enrollment procedures and official completion steps to be part of the Cooperative Alliance.
  • Work with Carl Perkins and other federal programs as needed.
  • Collaborate with all divisions and directors, making presentations as needed.
  • Collaborate with Campus Directors to work one‑on‑one with instructional staff to utilize best practices and the model schools Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships (Quad D framework).
  • Assist with the delivery of the ICTC new teacher induction program and utilize the ODCTE induction programs.
  • Develop instructional materials, curriculum alignment, and support materials while making presentations as needed.
  • Organize and manage the district plan for assisting students with testing and academic initiatives that lead to high school academic credit.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of career major certification, licensure, or credential tests for students.
  • Administer and report on the Carl Perkins Grant.
  • Assist with the College Alliance Program and career‑major submissions to ODCTE.
  • Support student services with transcription and awarding of academic credit.
  • Act as a consultant and support agent for each campus Academic Center and all academic classes offered for credit.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform such other duties and assume such other responsibilities as directed by supervisor or superintendent.
  • Maintain competence through participation in professional organizations and activities.
  • Participate in annual evaluations.
  • Supervisor may flex time to most effectively utilize 10 or 11 month positions.
