Housewide RN Nursing SupervisorThe Housewide RN Nursing Supervisor is a licensed registered nurse (RN) accountable for leading, managing & advancing people, processes & or programs that support direct or indirect patient care. The NL promotes & advocates for patients, nurses/colleagues & the practice of nursing as defined by clinical area(s) of expertise & assignment.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment. Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.
- Frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare department/program.
- Formally / informally supervises daily & or house functions of charge nurses, professional & frontline staff (multidisciplinary team) of assigned department.
- May or may not have direct report relationships.
- May be accountable for the staff coordination, scheduling & assignment or throughput.
- May participate in & contribute to the performance management / review process.
- Contributes to the daily performance, daily adherence to regulatory requirements & drives results of team within assigned department.
- Implements departmental plans & priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders.
