Maintenance Technician

Studio C Inc. is now accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Technician for Cinema Carousel in Muskegon, MI. As a Maintenance Tech, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep and repair of our facility and grounds. Reporting to and assisting the General Manager, you'll be involved in preventative maintenance, cleaning, and equipment repairs. This full‑time, hourly position offers an early morning schedule with a minimum requirement of 40 hours per week.

• Maintain the building, grounds (including snow removal) and associated properties.
• Ensure the proper working condition, care, and appearance of the building, equipment, landscaping, and other assets.
• Perform routine maintenance and timely repairs in various areas, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, concession equipment, seating, and building components.
• Maintain safety and security measures, complying with company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Oversee vendor and contractor activities, including scheduling repairs and maintenance, and ensuring the quality of work.
• Contribute to and uphold a celebrated culture, emphasizing service, trust, empathy, respect, courage, playfulness, transparency, and continued learning.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, and vendors regarding building and maintenance‑related matters.

• At least one year of prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge and ability to handle maintenance requests such as small motors, drywall, simple faucets, and toilets.
• Capability to perform tasks safely and effectively using tools, ladders, and lifts.
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve positive results.
• Excellent time‑management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Physically demanding role, requiring walking, climbing stairs, bending, twisting, crouching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, as well as operating commercial equipment.
• Self‑starter with a high level of initiative.
• Early morning availability required (6:00 am start time), with a schedule that may vary based on business needs and project work.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
