- Shift: Day Shift and Night Shift, 12-hour shifts (7am - 7:30pm or 7pm - 7:30am)

Position SummaryThe Patient Care Assistant, PCA works collaboratively to deliver excellent patient care under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include assisting patients with hygiene, activities of daily living, and supporting quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Respond to patient call lights or rounds for assistance.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, including showers, oral hygiene, and dressing.
- Transport patients for procedures, transfers, or discharge.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in patient rooms.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or 6 months of experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Tech, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School, or enrollment in the Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse individuals and groups.
