Under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and in collaboration with the CEO; provides comprehensive primary medical care services for individuals and families on a continuing basis regardless of age, race or sex.
Essential Job Functions- Address health maintenance and treat conditions that occur in everyday life, including common illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases.
- Elicit and record information about patient’s medical history.
- Order or execute various diagnostic tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition.
- Administer or prescribe treatments and medications.
- Promote health and play a role in preventing diseases through vaccinations, screenings, and health education.
- May provide prenatal care to pregnant women and provide postnatal care to mothers and infants.
- May perform surgical office procedures.
- Refer patients to medical specialists for consultant services when necessary for further diagnosis or treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, discussing test results, and providing health advice.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, social workers, and specialists.
- Additional clinical or administrative duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer or Chief Executive Officer to promote the success and welfare of the organization.
- Maintain a courteous, helpful and conscientious attitude in dealing with co-workers and patients and their families ensuring professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Regular and prompt attendance at work.
- All other duties as assigned.
Supervision of mid-level providers (P.A.’s, N.P.’s)

Education, Licensing, Certificates And/Or ExperienceDoctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). Current State of Michigan Physician License, current DEA License, and a current Controlled Substance License. Board certification.
