Clinical Dietitian

North Alabama Shoals Hospital is dedicated to supporting a diverse and determined workforce. In your role, you’ll support those interfacing with care to patients and community members, helping shape a healthier future for the communities we serve.

• The Clinical Dietitian approves menus including modified diets.
• Provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed.
• Provides counsel to patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation, and nutritional principles.
• Monitors the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department.
• Contributes to the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of three (3) years' dietary experience in a health care facility, with concentration in nutritional assessment and planning.
• License:
  Current Registration with the American Dietetic Association (RD or RDN) or similar organization and licensure per state of practice required.
• Additional Requirements:
  
  May be required to work flexible hours.
