This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical/Controls Engineer located in Tuscumbia, AL. Designs, develops, and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. May be responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May report to an executive or a manager.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide innovative solutions for industrial control systems
- Programming proficiency in Visual Basic, C++, .NET, and other advanced programing languages
- Strong background in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Familiarity with industry standards and practices
