Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Role

We’re seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with ERP systems, and takes pride in ensuring accurate, timely financial transactions.

You’ll play a key role in supporting cash flow, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to month‑end financial operations.

• Process customer orders and prepare accurate billing invoices
• Manage customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments
• Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and short pays
• Process credit memos and freight documentation
• Communicate with customers regarding billing questions and late payments
• Participate in month‑end close activities and reporting
• Maintain accurate financial records and resolve issues in real time
• Work within multiple systems and customer portals to support daily operations

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role OR an Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience working in ERP systems (Sage 100 is a plus)
• Solid understanding of invoicing, collections, and billing processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment

• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Advanced Excel or reporting experience
• Exposure to month‑end close or financial reporting tools
