Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to perform various excavation tasks. This includes digging trenches, grading land, and loading/unloading materials. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required specifications.

• Operate excavator machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues
• Dig trenches, grade land, and move materials as directed by the construction team
• Maintain a clean and organized work site
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times
• Communicate effectively with the construction team to ensure project goals are met
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment as needed

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction environment
• Valid operator's license for heavy equipment
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and project plans
• Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends when necessary
