Position Title:

IT & Cybersecurity Intern

Duration: 2 to 3 months

Digital Waves IT Solutions is seeking interns to support our Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure teams in deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-grade security systems. You’ll gain first-hand experience with SIEM platforms, firewalls, endpoint protection tools, and other critical IT security infrastructure — under the guidance of experienced engineers.

• Assist in deploying and configuring IT systems (servers, endpoints, networks)
• Assist in setting up and configuring security tools (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, endpoint management systems)
• Support implementation of data protection and compliance tools (e.g., for PDPL)
• Document deployment steps, configurations, and project outcomes
• Help test and validate security controls in real client environments
• Participate in internal training sessions and product walkthroughs
• Shadow senior engineers on support calls (where applicable)

• Manage Engine Log
  360, Endpoint Central, PAM
  360, OpManager, Firewall Analyzer and others
• Windows/Linux system hardening tools
• Basic scripting or automation (Power Shell, Bash)

• Students or recent graduates in IT, Networking, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
• Understanding of basic IT concepts (networks, operating systems, firewalls)
• Willingness to learn hands-on through real projects
• Clear documentation and communication skills
• Bonus:
  Familiarity with Manage Engine tools or similar platforms
• Direct mentoring by senior security engineers
• Exposure to real client projects in Oman
