We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst cum Quality Controller to support and accelerate our enterprise-wide Core Insurance transformation. This role ensures seamless alignment between business vision and technical execution, while enforcing high standards of quality, compliance, and delivery governance.
This is a hands‑on role with full ownership of both Business Analysis and Quality Assurance deliverables.
Core Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end requirement gathering and stakeholder workshops
- Prepare and own complete documentation:
- BRDs
- FSDs
- Process Maps
- User Journeys
- Functional Specifications
- Translate insurance business workflows into structured system configurations
- Ensure regulatory, accounting, and governance alignment within system design
- Support change management and rollout readiness
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans
- Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and UAT testing
- Manage and coordinate testing activities with dedicated testing teams
- Own defect lifecycle using JIRA or equivalent tools
- Ensure production readiness before go‑live
- Maintain high-quality documentation and traceability from requirements to testing
Strong working knowledge in:
- General (Property and Casualty)
- Insurance Accounting, Reinsurance, Commission & Claims workflows
- 10+ years in Insurance Business Analysis and QA
- Experience in Core Insurance System implementation / modernization
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile & structured methodologies)
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Test Rail, Selenium
- Delivery oriented, Detail-oriented, structured, and accountable
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced transformation environment
