Our engineering team builds scalable backend systems to power real-time content delivery, integrations, and analytics, all in support of innovative advertising and information platforms.

Job Summary

The Backend Lead will be responsible for the architecture, reliability, and delivery of Mubashir’s backend systems. You will guide technical execution while collaborating with product, frontend, Dev Ops, and AI teams to ensure performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and support backend engineers in writing clean, reliable, and testable code.
• Set technical standards, perform code reviews, and ensure accountability across development tasks.
• Support sprint planning, estimation, and release execution.
• Work closely with frontend, Dev Ops, AI, and product managers to align backend systems with business and product needs.
• Ensure APIs and backend infrastructure are modular, stable, and well-documented.
• Security & Quality Assurance
• Implement secure APIs using OAuth2, JWT, and TLS.
• Define observability standards (logging, metrics, alerting) and collaborate with Dev Ops to ensure uptime.
• Coordinate with Info Sec on security best practices and reviews.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 8–10+ years in backend development, with 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Certifications: Relevant backend and architecture certifications as listed above.
