Finance Manager
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial controls. The role supports the Director of Corporate Finance in managing financial performance, cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning. The Finance Manager ensures compliance with IFRS, statutory and tax regulations in Oman, and contributes to strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.
The role also requires close collaboration within the finance team and with other departments across the organization to support operational efficiency, financial transparency, and the achievement of the company’s strategic objectives.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee general ledger operations and ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Manage the preparation and finalization of financial statements and notes to accounts.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory filings and regulatory reports.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors and support audit processes.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for top management.
- Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support management decision-making through financial analysis and management accounting tools.
Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements.
- Liaise with banks to ensure adequate funding arrangements.
- Implement strong cash flow monitoring and financial control mechanisms.
Operational Finance
- Establish and maintain effective internal control systems.
- Support ERP financial modules and coordinate system improvements with IT.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and cost efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred) or Equivalent.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles.
- Experience in Big 4 audit firms or large corporate environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Understanding of Oman tax regulations and statutory compliance
- Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
- Fluency in English required;
Arabic is an advantage
