Wood is recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Oman to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work.

• Responsible for ensuring that EPC contractor process deliverables are reviewed, commented and accepted.
• Responsible for ensuring that all process activities are delivered on time with high quality of submissions.
• Advice EPC contractor in regard to the project contractual requirements and expectations for delivering process engineering activities.
• Participate in interviewing EPC contractor process team candidates and place recruitment recommendations.
• Develop weekly and monthly process engineering reports and related presentations.
• Attend company and contractors weekly and monthly meetings and update the process engineering activities tasks and challenges.
• Review and approve all process engineering including vendors deliverables documentations.
• Review and approve all laboratories engineering including vendors deliverables documentations.
• Ensure that final process and laboratories engineering documentation and vendor documentations deliverables are in AFC code.
• Participate and lead process engineering studies workshops for both EPC and Vendors scopes ensuring that all close out reports are approved.
• Review and approve project PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, architectures, general arrangements, heat and material balances, equipment lists, line lists and tie‑in schedules for the entire facilities.
• Review and approve all types of process simulations (steady state/dynamic) and hydraulic calculations (normal, startup, shutdown).
• Review and approve all types of equipment’s sizing reports as per applicable codes.
• Review and approve process datasheets, control & safeguarding narratives, shutdown keys, cause & effect matrices, alarm rationalization, and operating envelopes.
