Operations Manager - Omani National

We’re looking for Operations Manager who will be responsible for driving day-to-day business & developing the team to minimize breakdowns & maximize the reliability with agile services.

- Proactively manage manpower planning to ensure maximum productivity being achieved with the resources available in the depot.
- Supervise/leading commissioning/decommissioning of equipment, whilst ensuring all Aggreko standards & SOPs are followed by conducting regular equipment & site installation inspections at client sites.
- Driving preset global operational directives & minimising service expenditure in line with the depot’s target & set KPIs, ensuring all service‑related documentation is completed in line with Aggreko procedures and process maps
- Conduct induction, performance appraisal, development, and training of direct reports & technical support to the clients and internal teams where applicable.
- Identify common repeat failures on equipment to prevent reoccurrence using available data & resources reach out to Service Manager where appropriate.
- Any other duties considered related essential for effective operations and service as requested.
- Must have experience previously in rental business & at supervisory level.
- Higher Education qualification in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent qualifications with extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical or electrical field or both.
- Comfortable in facing client with the ability to communicate effectively when required, empathize & understand the perspective of others.
- Fluent command of English language, spoken and written with effective communication.
- Good Keyboard skills and Computer literate. Must be able to do documentation & soft reporting.
- Capable of working on his own initiatives & able to work long hours in demanding conditions.
