Drilling Supervisor

Overview

Our Client - One of the largest E&P operators in the Middle East specializing in the exploration, production, development, storage and transportation of hydrocarbons and the operation of natural-gaz e fields and their associated production systems.

Our client is currently hiring Drilling Supervisors who act as the Company Representative on the rig site. They will be responsible for the safe and cost‑efficient execution of all drilling or workover related activities in accordance with the programme, and will report to the coastal‑based Senior Well Engineer.

• Construct and deliver high‑quality wells by drilling, workover and/or completing wells as per programme in a cost‑effective and safe manner.
• Manage the wellsite organization, including the Wellsite Well Engineer, drilling contractors, subcontractors and service companies to deliver wells in the most efficient manner.
• Oversee operations carried out by the rig, following the drilling or workover programmes and according to company and Well Engineering standards.
• Implement the DTL process during drilling programme execution and promote a DTL‑working culture among the wellsite team to continuously improve historic performance year on year.

• University degree in Engineering or Sciences.
• Minimum ofipmap 10 years experience as a drilling supervisor.
• Good understanding of process management.
• Excellent command of the English language (written and oral) and strong communication skills.
• Fully skilled in Well Engineering software (EDM, well plan, stress check, etc.).
• At least 6 years working as a Drilling Supervisor with at least 10 years of experience within drilling operations.
