Swim Instructor; AT-WSI

As an Aqua-Tots Water Safety Instructor, you will deliver the renowned Aqua-Tots curriculum to students of all ages. Your primary goal is to create a safe, fun, and educational environment where children develop water safety skills and confidence that will last a lifetime.

You will be the face of Aqua-Tots in the pool, building meaningful relationships with students and their families while upholding our commitment to excellence in aquatic education.

• Uphold Aqua-Tots Core Values in every interaction with students, parents, and team members
• Deliver curriculum according to the Aqua-Tots lesson structure and teaching methodology
• Build positive relationships with students and parents, creating an engaging learning environment
• Communicate progress to parents regarding their child's development and curriculum advancement
• Maintain pool safety by helping check pool chemicals and maintaining required logs
• Keep the facility tidy and assist with cleaning and organization of the pool area
• Complete documentation including Aqua-Cards and class records each shift
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions

• Available to work at least two shifts per week
• Comfortable and capable in the water (swimming proficiency required)
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude
• Ability to work with children of various ages and abilities

• Prior experience working with children in educational or coaching settings
• Background in aquatics, swimming, or water safety
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Aqua-Tots Water Safety Instructor Certification (provided through paid training)
• CPR Certification (Adult, Child, and Infant)
• First Aid Certification
