Role Objective
Finalization of CAPEX, Cost Control, BOQ Specification, Quantities, Tendering, Procurement, finalization of bill processing and closure.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of BOQ (Civil, Architectural and Finishes, MEP and Fit-out).
- Review of BOQ prepared by consultants.
- Preparation of Contract Conditions (General and Particular Conditions).
- Preparation of tender documents including binding of tender documents (drawings, BOQ, specifications and conditions of contract).
- Floating tender enquiries and preparing comparison statements for received tenders.
- Preparation of approval notes of selected vendors for management approval.
- Assist the SPM / PM in all technical, progress and commercial meetings with consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Attend value engineering discussions with SPM / PM, contractors and suppliers and evaluate value engineering proposals, including carrying out cost–benefit analysis.
- Assist the SPM / PM to respond to all tender correspondences.
- Review interim and final payment applications of consultants, contractors and suppliers, and prepare payment certificates.
- Review variations and make recommendations to SPM / PM after variation assessment.
- Carry out joint inspections with SPM / PM and contractors for items to be re-measured after completion of fit-out works.
- Monitor the cost of works during the project life cycle and submit periodic cost reports to SPM / PM. Ensure project costs are within the approved budget.
- Ensure all project commercial files (incoming and outgoing) are properly filed and documented.
- Engineering Degree (Quantity Surveying, Civil or Architectural) with minimum 7 years of experience
, including at least 3 years of GCC experience

- Diploma with minimum 10 years of experience
, including at least 3 years of GCC experience
.
- Familiar with all forms of measurement (SMM7, CESMM3 & POMI).
- Familiar with FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
- Familiar with contract management methods (Lump Sum, Re-measured, Cost Plus, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring smooth functioning of the site.
- Working knowledge of all trades (structure, finishes, MEP and interior fit-out).
- Excellent database of local consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Excellent team player.
- Proactive and efficiency-driven.
- Cost conscious.
- Valid GCC driving license.
- Arabic language skills would be an added advantage.
