Business Development Executive
Our client is a leading consumer products company with a strong global presence in the beauty and wellness sector. Headquartered in Mumbai, they operate in over 25 countries across emerging markets in Asia, Africa & The Middle East. Their international consumer products portfolio is a significant contributor to the Group’s revenue, featuring well-known brands across various categories.
We are searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to spearhead business growth and achieve objectives in Oman.
Purpose of the Role:To drive the business objectives and deliver strong results within the Omani market, contributing to the overall success of our client's international portfolio.
Qualifications &Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success working specifically within Oman.
- Experience managing distributor sales teams is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Implement the country sales strategy effectively at both channel and portfolio levels.
- Collaborate with local teams to achieve business objectives and ensure target delivery.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster sales growth and enhance customer retention.
- Actively track competitor activities and proactively implement counter-measures as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance.
- Provide regular reporting on pricing, sales performance, and in-market stock levels.
- Monitor and manage the sales budget, ensuring expenditures align with allocated resources.

This role reports to the Country Manager for Key Overseas Business.
Other Functional Interfaces:- Internal: Various internal stakeholders within our client's organization.
- External: Oman Distributor, Trade Partners.
