Electrical Maint. Engineer

Supervises, coordinates and participates in the activities of personnel in the routine electrical maintenance, overhaul, shutdown and breakdown repair of 33KV, 11KV, 3.3KV and 415V distribution network system within NGL- 1/2/3/4, Storage & Loading and Utilities. Provide inputs in developing maintenance procedure and specifications to achieve cost effective maintenance with emphasis on safety.

Schedules work, implements preventative maintenance schedules, co ordinates shutdown activities with respect to Electrical, participates in the implementation of minor modifications/like to like replacements, supervises subordinates and contract technicians and maintains all associated technical and administrative records of work performed.

Provides efficient and quality maintenance of electrical equipment's of NGL- 1/2/3/4, Storage & Loading and Utilities to achieve production/safety objectives of Qatar Energy. This job will ensure minimize plant down time and maximize plant Electrical equipment's availability.

8 years Electrical Engineering experience in the design, specification, installation and maintenance of HV up to 33KV, 11KV, MV and LV electrical distribution systems, plant and equipment associated with the petrochemical industries and at least two years in a supervisory capacity as an Electrical Engineer.

B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering plus relevant short courses in safety, first aid and HT & LT distribution systems. Valid isolation authority registration certificate for LV, MV and HV electrical systems. Good knowledge of English is essential.
