With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Concierge Agent to join One&Only Royal Mirage Resort in Dubai.
With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of Resort’s success, and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships with our clients where you will be responsible for anticipating the needs of guests and executing all requests in a timely fashion. Is instrumental in creating an environment, executing service that is second to none by consistently seeking opportunities to create everlasting memories and build relationships.
KeyDuties and Responsibilities
- Keep a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.
- Demonstrate appropriate behavior.
- Follow hotel grooming standards.
- Cooperation with other hotel departments to make sure the work is planned and organized efficiently.
- Display outstanding hospitality skills based on five pillars.
- Report any problems that may arise through the general operation of the property to the Head Concierge or the Manager on Duty.
- Follow all LQA and Forbes Standards related to responsibilities and tasks.
- Adheres to all Resort rules and regulations as per Service Standard Policies and Procedures, and follows all communications discussed in daily shift briefing.
- Handles all telephone inquiries using proper telephone standard.
- Welcomes guests with appropriate greeting of the day and always assist guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Safeguard the holding and delivery of guest mail, packages, faxes, messages etc.
- Ensures that guests are supplied with comprehensive and correct information they require on the city, tourist attractions, shopping malls, restaurants etc.
- Communicates guest requirements to colleagues and other relevant departments with an understanding that guests are always number one priority in terms of service.
- Reserves restaurants, excursions, tennis courts, golf bookings and hotel limousine transport for guest on request.
- Handles all flight bookings & reconfirmations for guest on request.
- Actively sells and promotes all Food and Beverage Outlets and other facilities of the Resort as well as recommend facilities at sister properties and other hotels if required.
- Maintains current knowledge of daily & weekly events and other activities taking place within and outside the Resort.
- Takes responsibility for logging and resolving all guest complaints immediately.
- Ensures the timely and efficient processing of each guest request throughout the entire process.
- Attend training on respective tasks and duties in the case of health and safety, fire, or other emergency procedures.
- Attend Departmental training sessions as requested.
- Assist with other job-related tasks as and when requested.
- Ensure guest information is always kept confidential as per resort standards.
- Liaise with respective departments of special guest or group needs and requirements to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handles business related email inquiries that are intended for Concierge.
