Accounts Payable Supervisor

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Murrysville, PA.

Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will assist in all daily accounting processing tasks related to accounts payable. The position will oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and all vendor communications. This new role will provide leadership to the AP team and drives process improvements and will work closely and provide support to the Accounting Manager and related team to ensure daily accounting transactions are completed timely and accurately per company standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Assist in the processing of vendor invoices, matching PO's, invoice coding.

* Manage vendor communication, vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and issue resolution.

* Supervise, train, mentor, and develop accounts payable team.

* Process check runs on a weekly basis.

* Review and reconcile vendor statements and general ledger accounts.

* Support the month-end and year-end process.

* Provide support and backup to Accounting Manager.

Skills / Knowledge /

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

* 3 - 5 years of accounts payable experience including supervisory or lead responsibilities

* Microsoft D365 experience preferred or ERP related experience

* Microsoft software knowledge (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)

* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

* Ability to multi-task on various projects

* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of company personnel.
