• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and guide them to available tools, products, and services.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about total-store tools, products, and services to resolve issues and enhance the guest experience.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with applications or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features within the Target App, including Wallet, and how to enroll in order pick-up, drive-up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following store policies and procedures, and escalate to leadership when needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; adhere to safety policies and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, and drive-up returns, while complying with applicable laws (e.g., alcohol regulations where applicable).
• Perform other duties as required by business needs.

• Ability to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable and prompt attendance.
• Be able to stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift; adapt to varying temperatures and environment (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
