As an Applebee’s Host/Server Assistant, you will greet our guests at the door with a warm welcome and a smile. You will assist our servers in providing exceptional guest service and maintain the overall guest flow of the restaurant. You will work hard, but have a great time doing it!

• Greet guests warmly at the entrance
• Assist servers with guest service and orders
• Maintain overall service flow within the restaurant
• Transport plates, glasses, baskets between dining room, service bar, and kitchen
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures

• Minimum age 18 years
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to providing excellent service
• Basic physical requirements: standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, lifting up to 25 lb, speaking clearly and listening attentively
• Willingness to work with disinfectant and wear protective gear throughout shift

Must be able to remain stationary and move steadily for up to four (4) hours. Must able to safely reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to employees and dining room staff. Must be able to transport plates, glasses and baskets between rooms. Ability to wear protective hand coverings and face coverings or masks for entire shift.

Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfectant soap throughout shift.

• Base pay starts at minimum wage per hour, plus (tips) tip‑out
