As the Sr. Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater
, you will manage the execution of the engineering component of multiple traditional, design‑build, design‑bid‑build, and collaborative delivery projects including advanced treatment facilities, underground conveyance, and carbon‑neutral solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead a multi‑discipline team of engineers and technicians on high‑profile municipal projects.
• Supervise and mentor engineering staff, identifying developmental growth opportunities.
• Manage budgets, scheduling, and correspondence with clients and project management.

The Project Engineering Management team is a top‑ranked group in water design, partnering with clients to modernize infrastructure, optimize asset use, and mitigate risk.

• Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects.
• Conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations.
• Oversee collection of data and management of engineering work.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across disciplines.
• Lead large production teams, coordinate multi‑discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for complex projects.
• Establish a workplan to be applied to a project.

• Identify key client interests and drivers for highly complex projects.
• Communicate client concerns to the project team and develop solutions.
• Provide support for business development or pursuit activities.
• Manage project changes directly with the client in conjunction with Project Management.

• Lead large multi‑discipline teams to meet project deliverables.
• Serve as the technical leader for complex water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Drive solutions to achieve project goals.
• MAY support the chief engineer and discipline‑specific engineering processes.

• Review lower‑level engineering work or assignments.
• Handle hiring, mentoring, performance management, and pay administration of assigned personnel.

• Previous engineering consulting experience.
• Experience executing complex multi‑discipline WTP and WWTP upgrades and expansion projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program in the applicant’s home country or country of practice.
• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
• Must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search) if selected.
• Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support Engineer of Record requirements for BV projects in applicable countries.

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion, performance, and assignments.
• Must be able to use audio/video conferencing tools for internal/external communication.
