The Patient Care Technician (PCT) supports perioperative care in an ambulatory surgical center. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the PCT performs routine patient care and assists with procedural flow.
Work schedule:

- Assist with vital sign monitoring, rooming and admission of patients.
- Collect patient specimens.
- Guide patients to the bathroom and vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Facilitate patient flow and document required data.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced surgical environment as part of a perioperative team.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Prior experience with patient care, vital signs or related healthcare support roles preferred.
- Ready to work under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Graduate of a patient care tech program preferred and at least six months related experience in patient care.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certificate required.
