DescriptionThe Marketing Intern will support a wide range of marketing initiatives across a global nonprofit organization. This is a hands‑on, immersive opportunity for a senior‑level student who wants exposure to a full‑stack marketing function. You’ll learn to understand end‑to‑end marketing initiatives across the entire lifecycle of audience engagement. This role will work across brand, content, digital, communications, and performance. It integrates strategy, creative execution, distribution, measurement, and optimization under one coordinated operating model.
Interns will work alongside experienced marketing professionals and gain real‑world experience contributing to active campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and organizational priorities. This is not a “watch and learn” role. You’ll be doing meaningful work to support the mission daily.
- Support day‑to‑day marketing efforts across design, creative, communications, digital marketing, email, social media, and brand
- Partner with creative director & staff designers to conceptualize and develop high‑quality visual assets, ensuring all creative output remains consistent with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Utilize professional design tools (such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva) to produce engaging, platform‑specific content for social media feeds and email marketing campaigns to drive audience engagement.
- Provide hands‑on assistance during video shoots and production phases, managing equipment setup and post‑production tasks to deliver polished video content for digital platforms.
- Help organize and manage marketing assets, timelines, and project documentation
- Support campaign planning and execution, including fundraising & awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with team members across marketing disciplines to support integrated campaigns
- Assist with research, reporting, and performance tracking for marketing efforts
- Provide event and campaign support leading up to and through a major July 30 fundraising event
- Contribute to special initiatives, including potential work on Our Rescue’s Safe Game fundraising initiative

- Strong interest in marketing, storytelling, and creative work
- Interest in the Gaming Influencer Industry to bring awareness and raise money
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
- Experience with social media platforms or content creation tools
- Basic design, video, or writing experience
- Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools
- Interest in nonprofit, cause‑driven, or social impact work
Spring Term, with potential to extend full time June & July (event‑based support)
