Job Description
The Leadership and Organizational Development (LOD) Consultant I supports the change management needs for enterprise-wide initiatives, such as technology implementations. The role collaborates with project team members, LOD team members, external consultants, and Intermountain leadership to create and implement change management plans that support employee and physician transitions and adoption.
Eligibility & ResidencyPosition requires residency in one of the following areas:
Denver, Colorado;
Las Vegas, Nevada;
St. George, Utah;
Salt Lake City, Utah. States currently paused for sourcing new candidates or relocation requests include:
California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington.
- Support change management for enterprise-wide initiatives, including technology implementations.
- Collaborate with project teams, LOD staff, external consultants, and Intermountain leadership to create and implement change management plans.
- Provide learning opportunities and subject‑matter expertise during the design and development of learning‑related projects.
- Consult with colleagues during the learning opportunity planning phase to develop solutions that meet caregiver and leader needs.
- Develop learning solutions aligned with organizational goals, containing actionable objectives, effective learning modalities, and measurable outcomes; plan resource requirements and implementation timelines.
- Create needs‑assessment tools and program‑evaluation tools (Kirkpatrick Levels 1 and 2) for learning opportunities.
- Diagnose and collaborate on team and/or leader engagement solutions with HRBPs and other NOEs enterprise‑wide.
- Perform basic-level organizational development work to improve team collaboration and work processes.
- Lead large enterprise-wide projects and manage them from inception to completion.
- Build relationships with leaders and colleagues enterprise-wide to deliver learning opportunities and routine organizational‑development solutions.
- Experience in planning and developing enterprise‑wide learning opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience building collaborative relationships and influencing across a large, matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated consumer‑service orientation.
- Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and collaborative communication/relationship‑building skills.
- Demonstrated experience in effective project‑management skills and a basic understanding of learning design with limited supervision and assistance from more experienced consultants within the Center for Learning and Transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, Education, or a related business field (accredited institution).
- Prior experience designing and developing learning opportunities.
- Prior experience in project management.
- Prior experience in routine organizational development.
- Relevant certifications.
- Interact with others, verbally communicating and listening.
- Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and paperwork requiring finger and hand movements.
- Read computer monitors and documents.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
Transformation Center, Murray, Utah
Schedule & Compensation40 hours per week. Hourly rate: $50.97 – $78.69 (dependent on experience).
