Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HR Generalist (3–5 years of experience) to support our growing multi-state healthcare organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building processes, and is comfortable balancing employee support with compliance and operational execution.

The HR Generalist will support core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, and manager coaching. This role partners closely with operational leaders across clinics and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Manager Support

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for managers and employees across multiple states.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance concerns, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure consistent and compliant application of policies.
  • Support investigations and documentation related to employee issues.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Manage full-cycle onboarding process including offer letters, background checks, new hire setup, and HRIS entry.
  • Ensure smooth and compliant offboarding processes including terminations, final pay compliance, and documentation.
  • Continuously improve onboarding experience for clinic and corporate employees.

Performance Management & Development

  • Support performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
  • Coach managers on documentation and employee development best practices.
  • Assist in implementing scalable performance frameworks.

HR Operations & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS systems.
  • Identify opportunities to automate or streamline HR processes.
  • Assist in building SOPs, templates, and scalable HR workflows.
  • Contribute to building a structured, proactive HR function that supports rapid growth.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience (healthcare or multi-state experience preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters independently
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (PEO experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
