Superior Home Care & Hospice is a locally owned and operated agency focused on high quality patient care. We've been in business since 1996. We are seeking an on-call Registered Nurse that shares our passion for providing high quality patient care. Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to work autonomously are needed for this position.

This position covers patients in the Salt Lake Valley. We are currently looking for a nurse to be on-call every other week. Weeknights from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM and weekends from Friday at 5:00 PM to Monday morning at 8:30 AM. Base pay for on-call is $766.50 for a full week of on-call; any visits made are paid in addition to the base pay.

• Telephone triage - respond to answering service messages from patients and families.
• Make visits to patients as needed/requested after hours
• Admissions of new patients after hours

Home health and hospice experience is very helpful. We are willing to provide hospice training for those without that experience. Our hospice census is currently low and we have a very involved and responsive medical director.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Utah
• Current Utah driver's license and automobile insurance
• CPR certification
• Be vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with federal requirements
