General Duties- Adhere to the requirements of the Murray Engineering safety training, quality and environmental management plans.
- Train and assess Murray Engineering employees and associated personnel to comply with the requirements of the safety training, quality and environmental management plans.
- Complete safety and competency assessment documentation and records to comply with the requirements of the Byrnecut Group RTO and the INXsafety management system at the site.
- Assist and train safety representatives in their roles.
- Assist in investigations into all Murray Engineering and associated personnel incidents at the site.
- Assist with injury management at MEPL sites to ensure successful injury management outcomes.
- Assist in risk assessments and MEPL specific procedures development.
- Assist in the completion of MEPL specific safety training, quality or environmental requirements.
- Communicate safety and environmental information to MEPL employees and associated personnel.
- Cert III Heavy Mobile Plant Mechanics (or equivalent)
- Cert IV - Training and Assessment TAE
40116 (Preferred) - Experience in maintenance of Heavy Earthmoving equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Knowledge of INX Database, and Microsoft office programs
- Current and valid C Class Western Australian Drivers License
- Be available for field-based work when required
