Academic Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician
As an Academic Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician, you will serve within an expanding medical/surgical ICU, and pulmonary care program, functioning as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team supporting advanced therapies for complex, critically ill patients. This role is at Intermountain Medical Center, a premier academic medical center and flagship qua ternary hospital for Intermountain Health.
Responsibilities- Practice location at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah
- A balanced academic role including pulmonary clinic, pulmonary consults, ICU coverage, and protected research time
- 0.3 FTE Pulmonary Clinical Commitment:
Standard outpatient clinic hours with dedicated pulmonary function test (PFT) and cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) interpretation time (548 hours annually) - 0.4 FTE ICU Commitment:
Including 1-2 rotating night shifts per month, covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays (730 hours annually) - 0.3 FTE Protected Research Time:
With the opportunity to expand research effort in alignment with NIH-funded salary support (624 hours annually) - Potential for medical education and teaching opportunities
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Residency training in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience: $7.25 - $999.99
