Contract Negotiator and Risk Analyst

Responsibilities- Leading contract negotiations with customers and suppliers, and independently making decisions on behalf of Solventum that impact contractual terms.
- Identifying and quantifying legal risks on less complex matters and crafting options or alternatives to appropriately balance risk and business objectives. For more complex matters, work with supervisor or team designee to determine alternatives.
- Providing advice related to risk, often involving the explanation and discussion of difficult information directly to knowledgeable audiences.
- Applying analytical skills to interpret data and trends from various reporting and information systems, then adapting techniques and methods to develop solutions for identified issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and four years of experience in contract negotiation in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- OR Juris Doctor, JD and one year of contract negotiation in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Travel: up to 10% domestic/international.

All new hires for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on‑site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. This applies to new hires with a start date of October 1, 2025 or later.
Compensation & BenefitsThe expected compensation range for this position is $96,000 – $132,000, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The range represents a good faith estimate and will vary based on factors such as relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience. The position may also be eligible for a range of benefits including medical, dental and vision, health savings accounts, dependent care flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, life insurance, voluntary benefits, paid absences, and retirement benefits.
