Experienced Bookkeeper

Engineering and construction company in Murray, Utah is seeking an experienced Accountant/ Bookkeeper familiar with construction industry for a full time in-house Accountant/Bookkeeper position, to interpret and apply generally accepted accounting principles, rules and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

• Prepare detailed reports on project cost performance.
• Cash flow forecasting.
• Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes.
• Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple companies.
• Prepare state tax and regulatory filings.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Quick Book enterprise, minimum of 3 years, or other accounting software.
• Excellent proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Database Systems.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger.
• Work experience in an office is required.
• Knowledge of customer service concepts and practices.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications.
• Great attention to details and high degree of accuracy.
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures.
• Prepare year-end consolidated financial statements for CPA review.
