Key Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Plan repair work, prepare cost estimates, and use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
- Repair dents, apply filler resins, realign chassis, and replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
- Repair glass, windshields, interior parts, and weld parts as needed.
- Prep and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or an agreed‑upon equivalent.
- Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
- Read job orders and work with very little supervision.
- Work with other repairers in an auto body shop.
- Understand methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
- Use trade tools effectively.
- Work safely in a noisy area with many odors.
- Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
- Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
