Security Investigator will work independently to conduct highly complex investigations, focusing on workplace violence, loss, fraud, customer incidents, policy violations, misconduct, and other Security-related issues.
Essential Functions- Plan and execute proactive strategy for investigations while utilizing analytics to identify potential risk trends.
- Conducts interviews with reporting parties, witnesses, and subjects and presents findings to management.
- Documents investigative findings in written reports that are clear, concise, and comprehensive.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree/Equivalent in directly related field. Related fields may include corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation or supply chain loss prevention, loss analytics.
Minimum ExperienceFour (4) years related experience required in corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation or supply chain loss prevention, or loss analytics, to include two years experience in a position of company security site lead or security site support functions.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequires extensive knowledge of operations, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, advanced investigative and interview skills, and the ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
Security Investigators are required to have demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise and the ability to learn new software tools with minimal training.
The position must be comfortable with ambiguous assignments while managing multiple timelines and activities.
Job ConditionsThis position is subject to 24/7 on call, frequent travel, and overnight stays.
Preferred QualificationsFraud experience and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification preferred.
Pay TransparencyThis compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
