Overview
Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our Team. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, with commission available on transactions and potential to earn an above-base rate through commissions.
Position SummaryWe are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/3rd key experience. Assistant Store Managers are accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store and promoting a positive/productive environment. This role partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain talent, maximize financial goals, and manage Customer Relations / Customer Satisfaction.
The position sets the tone for a customer-centric environment. You will analyze store financial statements to ensure goals are met and participate in asset protection, store promotion, and new customer acquisitions. Employees work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The role offers an hourly wage plus commission and a bonus based on store performance.
The actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities include working with the Store Manager to drive profitability, manage operations, and maintain First Cash standards.
Responsibilities- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting), in accordance with law.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- 40+ hours per week; hours based on business needs.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills; cash handling experience required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Applicants will receive more details during the interview process. Pay includes an hourly base plus commission and store-performance bonuses. The maximum base pay rate is determined by prior experience and applicable skills.
