Hiring for a Quality Control Technician in Manchester, TN
Join our team as a Quality Control Technician at a leading automotive supplier. You will play a vital role in supporting the Quality Control (QC) department by utilizing pin gages, calipers, and conducting visual inspections. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the QC and management team to address quality issues related to parts from stamping, die casting, coating, and assembly processes before they are shipped to customers.
Additionally, you will be responsible for completing inspection paperwork for quality and inventory control, both written and input on the computer.
- Conduct inspections using pin gages, calipers, and visual inspection methods.
- Collaborate with the QC and management team to resolve quality issues.
- Complete and input inspection paperwork for quality and inventory control.
- Occasionally operate a standup forklift and use scan guns for SAP and Barcom to move inventory.
- Perform cycle counts and support customer service, inventory control, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery.
- Proficiency in using pin gages, calipers, and visual inspection techniques.
- Experience in quality control and inventory management.
- Ability to operate a standup forklift.
- Familiarity with SAP and Barcom for inventory tracking.
- Strong documentation skills, both written and computer-based.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in continuous improvement processes.
- Proficiency in Excel for data entry.
This is a Permanent position based out of Murfreesboro, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $20.00/hr.
