• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests to assess patient health needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient information and care.
• Ensure all documentation is compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
• Stay current with best practices, new developments, and advancements in nursing through continuous education and professional development.
• Mentor and support junior nursing staff and students to promote a culture of learning and excellence.

Candidate requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
