Objective:
We are seeking a caring and dedicated nurse to join our team and provide exceptional care to children and their families in a supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate will assist pediatricians in delivering safe and compassionate healthcare, perform age-appropriate assessments, administer vaccines and medications, support minor procedures, and educate parents on child health and wellness. This role requires strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Essential Functions- Obtain and record patient vital signs; prepare and assist in exams and procedures.
- Administer vaccinations and medications according to provider orders and CDC guidelines.
- Collect and process lab specimens accurately.
- Document all patient care and communications in the EHR.
- Educate and support patients and families, serving as a liaison between providers and caregivers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment while adhering to OSHA and clinic policies.
- Additional duties as assigned.
MA/LPN required. Pediatric experience recommended.
Skills / Abilities- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Be flexible.
- Skill in appropriate assessment, examination, and treatment of patient care issues.
- Skills in communicating effectively with co-workers, doctors/providers, and patients.
- Skill in effectively role modeling appropriate behavior.
- Ability to react calmly and competently in stressful situations.
- Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with patients, doctors/providers, co-workers and vendors.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize assignments.
Combination of office, exam and other clinical settings. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, bodily fluids and other conditions common to nursing situations.
Physical / Mental DemandsVaried activities including sitting, walking, bending, reaching, lifting and stooping. Occasional stresses from multiple patient care responsibilities.
