About the RoleBarrett Firearms Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented welder to join our team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on firearm components and related assemblies in a precision-driven environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in craftsmanship, maintain strict quality standards, and thrive in a team-focused production setting.
Responsibilities- Spot welding, grinding, and stamping on parts, sub-assemblies, and components in accordance with engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Execute precise spot welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct and document in-process inspections to verify conformance to specifications and identify any nonconformities.
- Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality control.
- Support production operations by completing additional duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor or management.
You are a skilled welder who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and producing high-quality work. You understand the importance of following specifications, maintaining tight tolerances, and ensuring every weld meets exact standards. Safety, consistency, and attention to detail are second nature to you.
Qualifications- High school diploma required.
- Technical degree and welding certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training.
- A flexible and adaptable work style.
