Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the areas of class scheduling, student registration, and student records. They oversee the class schedule production for all academic departments on campus, the assigned registration times for all students, the processes necessary for registration each semester, and the prerequisite/restriction controls for courses. This position manually processes registration transactions, calculates deadlines for each part of term, creates the final exam schedule, and communicates important deadlines to campus partners.
They also provide supervision and support for student record maintenance, including transcripts, enrollment verifications, grades, withdrawals, and required reporting deadlines. In addition to these duties, the Associate Registrar serves as the contact point and trainer for the MT One Stop staff for all aspects of the Registrar’s Office, as well as serving on university committees to represent the office.
Master’s degree required;
Bachelor’s Degree and Eight years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a Master’s degree.
Four years progressively responsible experience in an administrative capacity in student registration, scheduling, records, or related higher education field. One of the four years must include supervisory experience.
Desirable Related ExperienceMaster s degree preferred.
