Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented International Sales Coordinator to support global sales operations by managing international orders from receipt through shipment, coordinating export documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and facilitating cross-departmental communication to maintain accurate product allocation and timely order fulfillment for international customers.
About the Role- Coordinates with internal departments to ensure international sales activities align with business goals and delivery expectations while supporting effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Manages international orders and contracts from receipt through processing, allocation, and shipment to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Works with Compliance to maintain and track export documentation required for international shipments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicates with the Shipping department to confirm order readiness and prepare documentation for outbound shipments.
- Partners with Accounting to ensure payment terms are satisfied and orders are released for shipment in a timely manner, while maintaining an updated matrix of allocated orders, available product, and projected monthly shipment capacity.
- Supports communication flow between international customers, internal teams, and sales management; occasional domestic or international travel may be required, along with all other duties as directed.
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and coordination matter. You have experience managing international orders and understand the importance of export documentation, compliance requirements, and cross-functional communication. You are proactive, communicate clearly with both internal teams and global customers, and take ownership of ensuring orders move efficiently from receipt through shipment. Most importantly, you bring a strong sense of accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting international sales operations with precision and reliability.
- Degree in business, supply chain, international trade, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales coordination or similar role required
. - Experience with international sales, export processes, or defense related products preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and within a team environment.
- Working knowledge of export documentation and compliance requirements, proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
