Location: Mundelein, IL (3x days onsite, hybrid)
Duration: 6‑month contract, possible extension or hire
Pay Rate: $25‑28/hr

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related.
- 1‑2+ years of working in a product complaint role or related (investigating complaints, NOT intaking them).
- Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA process, evaluating cause and defect codes, etc.
- Experience in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical / medical device / food and beverage industry).
- Must have strong initiative, a drive to solve problems, and eagerness to learn new things.
- Strong time management skills, communication skills, and critical thinking skills.
Insight Global is seeking a qualified Product Complaints Technician to join an established medical device company in Mundelein, IL. This individual will be responsible for a large-scale remediation project. Their responsibilities will include a full review of cause and defect codes during complaint investigations and addressing reportability and correcting major systemic issues.
Responsibilities- Review and remediate historical product complaints to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with updated regulatory and internal standards.
- Conduct retrospective investigations utilizing available data sources such as historical records, sample evaluations, image reviews, and trend analyses.
- Analyze updated investigation findings to ensure accurate root cause and draft clear, concise complaint updates based on results.
- Prepare and revise complaint records, including analysis summaries, closure statements, and remediation justifications.
- Apply updated procedural guidelines to identify complaints requiring escalation, including initiation of Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA), Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR), or Health Hazard Evaluations (HHE), based on trend analysis and reclassification outcomes.
